Conservative Future

Welcome to Colchester Conservative Future!
Colchester CF was formed in late 2008 to involve and interest as many people between the ages of 18 and 30 in politics in Colchester and the Conservative Party. The Branch was launched on 8th May 2009 at a very successful dinner at the Ask Restaurant on North Hill. With the Branch still in its infancy there remains a great many opportunities to become involved in helping to shape the Branch and to develop its activities.
Conservative Future is the largest youth political movement in the UK involving some 18,000 people. Across the country there are hundreds of CF branches in towns, cities and on campuses. Beyond the local branches are area groups and the national executive who assist the CF Branches by providing advice, guidance, campaigns and general support.
The Colchester CF Executive is working hard to develop and increase the activities of the Branch. As well as an exciting range of social events including dinners, drinks parties with guest speakers and policy discussions, we are working closely with Will Quince, Colchester’s excellent Conservative PPC, to organise campaigns as a way of highlighting the need for change, both in Colchester and the country.
In addition, I am delighted that Colchester CF and Essex University CF have joined forces and are now working closely together. Through our co-operation, we have been able to agree that all members of Essex University CF will automatically be members of Colchester CF. Essex University brings many great benefits to the town and our co-operation only increases what can be achieved.
These coming months and years are going to be crucial for Britain. The county is desperate for change and a chance to throw out this tired, desperate and failed Labour Government. It is now more important than ever that the Conservatives get their message across and take the campaign to the doorsteps and streets. So if you want to assist with helping the Conservatives to win, want to meet new friends and in the process have a good time then why not get involved with Colchester CF?

Chairman, Colchester CF
