Will slams theft of safety rings

Conservative Parliamentary candidate Will Quince has condemned the thefts of crucial safety rings from alongside Colchester riverside paths.  On one pathway, adjacent to the riverside Public House, half the total safety rings have gone missing.

 

Will Quince said:

 

“Whether someone takes one of these Safety Rings after a night out having had one too many beers or if someone deliberately sets about stealing one the outcome is the same – lives are being put at risk.  In the event of an emergency these safety rings could make all the difference to someone struggling in the water”

 

If you have any information on the safety rings thefts, Will urges you to contact the Police or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
